Welcome to volume 8 issue 8 of Monthly Mineral Chronicles. This is a publication pulled together by a mineral collector for mineral collectors.

- Illustrated Minerals of Australia Volume 5, Part 3 – Malanite to Marcasite.
- Locality Snippet – Searles Lake, California, an area where evaporite minerals, which form the bulk of Searles Lake’s deposits, originate from the precipitation of dissolved mineral ions from saline solutions.
- The Mascot Mine, Gorham, New Hampshire. Rolf tells us about some interesting secondary minerals from an old abandoned lead, zinc and copper mine.
